I’m a reconstructive urologic surgeon who also cares for cancer survivors. I became interested in pelvic floor disorders because of the emphasis on improving the quality of life. For most pelvic floor disorders – bladder, bowel, sexual dysfunction, or vaginal bulge – there are usually multiple treatment options with different pros and cons.
